A First Day Issue Ceremony was held at the United States Post Office, 122 Cherry Street, Guthrie, Todd County, Kentucky, April 22, 2005. This marked the issuance by the United States Postal Service of a commemorative stamp in honor of Robert Penn Warren. To read more about this ceremony click here.

The entire ceremony was recorded with audio and video and a DVD of that ceremony is now available to the public.
