AT THE MOVIES

The film version of All the King's Men was released in 1949 simultaneously in New York and Hollywood. Robert Rossen produced and directed the film and was given credit as screenwriter and Robert Penn Warren helped with the editing of the film in the spring of 1949. Filming was done in Stockton, California. For additional information click here.

The film version of Band of Angels opened in 1957. Filming was done in Louisiana. Raoul Walsh directed the film and it was written for the screen by Ivan Goff, Ben Roberts (III), and John Entwistle. For additional information click here.
